Racism
Racism
They blame us
We blame them
We all have our own opinion
Of whose fault it is
The truth is
It’s everybody’s fault
If only we stopped fighting
We judge according to skin colour
Not by the person
Just because they are different
Doesn't mean that they are bad
You aren’t entitled to anything
Not a Ferrari
Or a mansion on the beach
Or to lord over somebody
Like an elephant over an ant
Your neighbour isn’t forced
To live in filth
In a house built of your scraps
They are human too
They probably know more than you
Their ancestors were born here
They walked on this red soil
Long before you came
You
Floating in your wooden monsters
Wiping them out
With sticks that spit fire
Take the time
To reach out your hand
And care
We all want the same thing
To live at peace
To unite
To enjoy the sun rising over the thorn trees
Bringing with it
New opportunities
Together
