We are all equal

Segregation, slavery, genocide, inequality and police brutality,
Is the reality of judgement rascality.
They find it hard to see the racism,
Overshadowed by the white optimism.
Denying the fact that racism isn't evident in society,
Is paving way for more racist bigots notoriety.
Their reasoning is biased and partial,
Making their ideologies pathetic, yet influential.
All our muteness in the face of racist assault are acts of complicity,
Showing that there is toxicity in our ethnicity.
Looking in a crayon box and not seeing all the colours,
Is just like ignoring a dollar in the midst of wealthy scholars.
Everyone expects to be treated equally,
Having the same blood why should some be treated differently.
Like a pandemic, racism has eaten deep in our society,
Who will heal us, we can call her charity.
